Judging from the results I have received, most people know what phone hacking is, and are aware of which law it breaks. They were also aware that Rupert Murdoch was the owner of News of The World, as he was also involved in the phone hacking scandal. But when asked if they knew much about the phone hacking scandal, none of them knew in depth about it. In a way it isn’t surprising. Most of the people that partook in doing my survey were teenagers; this just comes to show that some teenagers are just not interested in this topic and doesn’t bother them much, despite it being all over the media.
