Orb painting photography
To achieve the above pictures, we used a small LED key ring light attached to the end of a plastic string. We then set up the camera setting ISO to 100 and 20 or 30 seconds shutter speed. Once we sorted the camera settings, we marked a centre point, turned off the main lights then turned on the LED light. To create the Orb effect, one person had to swing the light in a circular motion, making sure the light passes through the centre point while carefully shifting themselves in a full 360 degree circle at the same time. At first it was a little tricky to get a full rounded orb, but with some practice, it could easily be achieved. It was a fun task and I personally enjoyed the process very much.
Light painting photography
To achieve this effect may look complicated, but it's pretty simple, quick and fun. We first set the shutter speed to 1/20. Then changed the ISO to 200. Then we took a torch and creatively drew what we thought would look cool.
